Becoming a LifeChange Small Group Leader

God's Word tells us that it is a good thing to desire to be a leader (I Timothy 3:1). God's Word goes on to tell us that being put in the position of a leader who is teaching God's truths is a position that carries a lot of responsibility and therefore it isn't to be taken lightly (James 3:1, I Timothy 3:1-2). The pastoral staff at Crossroads wants to do all we can to make sure that its sheep are being fed properly by good Shepherds. Keep in mind that you don't need to write a complete theology paper especially in the area where it asks for your beliefs on certain doctrinal issues. Simple sentences and phrases will suffice. Also keep in mind that the Spiritual gifts test is not definitive. It only shows the ways you might "tend" to be gifted. We hope that you don't find the application process a burden but rather one that is challenges you to think through what you believe and why you believe it. It will also help us find out a bit more about you.
