what are do life groups?

Do Life groups are an informal, fun way for people to network with others in the church, or invite family and friends to meet the Crossroads family. These groups are an awesome way to meet new people, enjoy hobbies, and reach out to people outside the church.

It's easy to find a group...Do Life groups are centered around the interests and activities you already love to do. To sign up, find a group you'd like by looking at the the Do Life pages here on our website, then simply connect with the group leader listed, or stop by the Information kiosk in the church Family Room and we'll help make the connection for you.

Do Life - Just Do It:

• Do Life Cooking – Help equip people in cooking basics and explore fun creative ideas and recipes to use in the kitchen.

• Do Life Family Camping – Family-friendly camping, whether your style is tents, trailers or campers.

• Do Life Video Production – Covering a broad range of video production disciplines.

Do Life - Sports & Outdoors:

• Do Life Basketball –  This is a great chance to get good exercise and play the game you love. The group meets weekly in the Activity Center Gym.

• Do Life Elk Camp – Are you interested in scouting and preparing for the upcoming elk season? This group will be a great way to do that, as well as get to know others with a similar interest.

• Do Life Fishing Network – Available for men and women to lead trips and go on trips of all types of fishing. He will also be a network where people can share fishing details and trips.

• Do Life Hiking – We will walk and explore the trails of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

• Do Life Kayaking – We practice and teach the sport of Recreational and Touring Kayaking. We explore rivers, lakes and tributaries of the Great Northwest. Kayak trips range in interest from leisurely uneventful water, walks hugging quiet shaded lakeside shores, to near death experiences. (Beginning kayakers skip the "near death" part.)  We encounter every form of wildlife, burn a lot of calories, share our life and faith in Jesus Christ and have a blast!

• Do Life Softball – Semi-competitive "pick up" softball games on a weekday evening or weekend afternoon.

• Do Life Adult Surfing – Ocean surfing and get-togethers involving the surfing lifestyle.

Do Life - Arts & Crafts:

• Do Life Beading – Open to anyone interested in learning the basics of beaded jewelry and gifts!
  

• Do Life Games – Get better acquainted with others who share a passion for playing board and card games.

• Do Life Crochet & Knitting – Our primary goal is fellowship, with a secondary goal of completing crochet and knitting projects for various nonprofit groups thoughout Clark County. These groups include Pregnancy Resource Center, SWWMC Birthing Center, Chemo Infusion Centers and Open House Ministry.

• Do Life Photography – Discuss, share, and develop photography skills with a different focus each month.

• Do Life Scrapbooking – A time to get together to scrapbook and create all occasion cards.

• Do Life Watercolor – This group is for anyone who loves to draw, paint or has a passion for water coloring. With a meeting once a week, this is a great opportunity to meet others with similar passions.
